PCR Volunteer of the Month
Partnerships for Parks and PCR honors volunteers who demonstrate exceptional leadership and commitment to their local parks through service, advocacy, and collaboration. Our award recipients actively helped to transform their parks and green spaces into dynamic community assets.
Presidential Volunteer Service Award
The Presidential Volunteer Service Award recognizes the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity. This award honors individuals who are using their time and talents to solve some of the toughest challenges facing our nation and whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too.
Partnership for Park It’s My Park Day Volunteer Award

NYC SERVICE AWARD
The Mayoral Service Recognition Program is an annual citywide celebration of volunteers and service members, recognizing efforts to build solutions in response to community challenges and meet residents’ most urgent needs. The recognition program takes place throughout National Volunteer Month in April as a way to recognize diverse volunteer efforts of the calendar year.
Volunteer Distinguished Service Appreciation Award
The districts 38 and 43 Volunteer Distinguished Service Appreciation Award is presented at the discretion of PCR and districts 38 and 43 in recognition of exceptionally outstanding leadership, professional competence, and significant accomplishment over a sustained period of time in the field of volunteering.
