As the summer slowly ends and the new school year starts, we want to look back at all the events our volunteers have participated in.

PCR's Annual Back to School Carnival Press Conference

PCR's 7th Annual Back to School Carnival

We had an incredible time at our 7th Annual Back to School Carnival on August 17! It was wonderful to see so many community members come out and enthusiastically participate in all the activities. We hope everyone had a chance to enjoy everything the event had to offer.

8/10 Orientation

We are always thrilled to welcome our bright and enthusiastic new volunteers at orientation! It's inspiring to see them ready to give back and make a difference in our community! Welcome them to the team!

City Hall Tour

Big thanks to @susanzhuangnyc (Councilmember Susan Zhuang) for offering our community an exclusive trip to City Hall and the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services for guiding us on the tour! Our members had an amazing time

learning about the history and marveling at the stunning architecture!

Trip to Governors Island

PCR took families on an adventure to Governors Island as part of our Historical Exploration of New York (HENY) program! With the help of our amazing volunteers, everyone enjoyed the island’s sights and had a blast on the playground.

Trip to Bronx Zoo

We are wrapping up summer break with an unforgettable trip to the Bronx Zoo! Our summer school kids and amazing volunteers had a blast exploring and discovering all the incredible animals at the zoo. Here's to a wild and wonderful end to the season!

Safety and Resource Fair

First we want to thank all for joining us at the Safety and Resource Fair! It was great to see so many of you come out and learn essential self-defense skills to keep yourselves and your loved ones safe. Remember, safety starts with awareness and preparation. Stay vigilant, and let's continue to support each other in building a stronger, safer community!

NYC Commission on Racial Equity

We thank all community members for enthusiastically joining us for our Community Conversation with the NYC Commission on Racial Equity. Let's continue to communicate the purpose of reaching racial equity and making a difference together

Community Beautification
